One of my favorite childhood memories of visiting Buffalo was getting ice cream at Mississippi Mudds and walking the riverfront. What is Mississippi Mudds? "A summer destination for people who are hungry for all the local favorites: Sahlen's hot dogs, Mighty Mudd Burgers, Italian sausage, Western New York's best grilled chicken sandwiches, beef on weck, and of course, our famous Louisiana Sweet Fries, hand-cut sweet potato fries drizzled with warm honey and butter. This has become a family tradition whenever the "Omaha Crew" is in town.
Slumber Party/Movie Night with "Aunt Kassie"
On Sunday, my Aunt Donna took me to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery for their Jazz series on the lawn. It was a beautiful and relaxing day with the right amount of breeze carrying the tunes our way. We walked around the museum to see the outdoor sculptures which were amazing!
The weekend ended with Ice cream and Pizza!
